Atari 8 Bit

AMC Gridrunner
Defender-esque game with giant camels. I was reworking this for the Konix Multi System, but we all know what happened to that thing :-] One of my best-known games, originally Centipede-inspired but particularly in later incarnations very much evolved into its own unique style.
Hover Bovver
Lawnmowing game which is more fun than it sounds. Originally designed with my dad.

Commodore Vic 20

Abductor Andes Attack
Fairly mundane bottom-shooter in which the enemies swooped down to abduct your Humanoids. Sort of Defender meets Galaxian. An early effort of a Defender clone.
Blitzkrieg Deflex
A joke that got out of hand... ;) Dexterity game in which the player deflects a ball using angled deflectors in order to hit a target. Simple but fun.
Gridrunner Hellgate
One of my best-known games, originally Centipede-inspired but particularly in later incarnations very much evolved into its own unique style. Insanely intense shooter in which the player controls 4 guns firing into a central arena.
Laserzone Matrix
Shooter in which the player controls two guns on orthogonal axes. Not too baad. Sequel to Gridrunner. More levels and a few extra twists.
Meta-Llamas Rox III
Possibly the most stupidly-named game of all time. Actually not a baad little shooter with an innovative control method which allowed the player to deflect shots in flight by manipulating a force field. Coded one Christmas on the Vic just for laughs, it actuallywasn't too bad of a game in a clunky written-in-BASIC stylee.
Traxx
Somewhat control-impaired Amidar-inspired grid-painting game with *incredibly* annoying tune that won't shut up and drives you absolutely insane.

Commodore C16

Hellgate Laserzone
Insanely intense shooter in which the player controls 4 guns firing into a central arena. Shooter in which the player controls two guns on orthogonal axes. Not too baad.
Matrix Voidrunner
Sequel to Gridrunner. More levels and a few extra twists. Further sequel to Gridrunner/Matrix.

Commodore 64

Ancipital Attack of the Mutant Camels
Unusual puzzle/platform/shooter featuring an anthropomorphic goat character that could walk on the walls and ceiling as well as the floor. Not a bad game, and fondly remembered. Defender-esque game with giant camels. I was reworking this for the Konix Multi System, but we all know what happened to that thing :-].
Batalyx Gridrunner
Unusual game in which player could jump at will between various sub-games all of which got more difficult as time went on, so the player needed to tackle those games he found most difficult early in the game to have a chance of completing it all. One of my best-known games, originally Centipede-inspired but particularly in later incarnations very much evolved into its own unique style.
Hellgate Hover Bovver
Insanely intense shooter in which the player controls 4 guns firing into a central arena. Lawnmowing game which is more fun than it sounds.
Iridis Alpha Laserzone
Complex scrolly shooter involving twin planet surfaces that scrolled in opposite directions, a main character that could transform between walking and flying modes, and warp gates that allowed access to higher game levels as the player progressed. Shooter in which the player controls two guns on orthogonal axes. Not too baad.
Mama Llama RMC
Possibly over-ambitious game where you had to guide a family of llamas through 100 levels whilst using an accompanying droid thingie to protect them from various enemies. Possibly one of the most menorable Llamasoft games. Giant camel blasting through waves of somewhat surreal enemies.

Sinclair Spectrum

City Bomb Gridrunner
Quick lash-up of Blitzkrieg for the Speccy. Nothing special at all. One of my best-known games, originally Centipede-inspired but particularly in later incarnations very much evolved into its own unique style.
Headbangers Heaven Laserzone
Based on an old PET game I'd seen, except that in my version it paid to get hit on the head by the falling hammers and then take an aspirin. Shooter in which the player controls two guns on orthogonal axes. Not too baad.
Matrix Meta-Llamas
Sequel to Gridrunner. More levels and extra twists. Possibly the most stupidly-named game of all time. Actually not a baad little shooter with an innovative control method which allowed the player to deflect shots in flight by manipulating a force field.
Rox III Super Deflex
Coded one Christmas on the Vic just for laughs, it actually wasn't too bad of a game in a clunky written-in-BASIC stylee. Update to the original Deflex
Trax Voidrunner
Further sequel Gridrunner/Matrix
